The Area Sales Manager will be responsible for handling sales operations, distributor/channel partner management, and retail expansion of tea and coffee powder products. The candidate must have strong knowledge and prior experience in field sales, particularly in tea powder, coffee powder, or similar dry food/beverage products. Roles and Responsibilities: Identify and appoint new distributors and retailers in assigned regions Manage and strengthen relationships with existing channel partners Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets Lead a team of Sales Officers/Executives and guide them to drive secondary sales Execute promotional activities, retail branding, and visibility strategies Ensure timely order booking, product availability, and stock rotation Monitor competitor activity and prepare detailed market intelligence reports Handle collections and ensure credit control with distributors Conduct regular field visits and review market feedback Report sales performance to Regional/Head Office teams Key Skills & Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of experience in sales of tea powder, coffee powder, or similar FMCG categories Strong network and field exposure in Telangana and/or Andhra Pradesh Leadership qualities with the ability to manage a team of sales executives Good understanding of distribution systems, retail operations, and local market dynamics Fluency in Telugu is mandatory; Hindi and English are desirable Proficient in sales tracking, route planning, and report preparation Bachelor’s degree required; MBA in Sales/Marketing is a plus Willingness to travel extensively within assigned territory What We Offer: Competitive fixed salary Monthly performance-based incentives Travel allowance and mobile reimbursement Opportunity to grow into regional leadership roles A dynamic and supportive work environment Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to ₹61,582.66 per month Benefits: Cell phone reimbursement Food provided Provident Fund Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
