Introduction

KPMG India is looking to recruit passionate, enthusiastic and customer focused business analysts for their growing Tableau practice. The candidate will be actively involved in the following areas of practice work.

Key Responsibilities

• Tableau Development:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex Tableau dashboards, reports, and visualizations as per enterprise requirements.
• Utilize Tableau's advanced features, including calculated fields, parameters, filters, and storytelling techniques.
• Optimize Tableau performance and scalability for enterprise datasets.
• Collaborate with data analysts to understand client business requirements and translate them into effective visualizations.

• Cloud Platform Integration:

• Integrate Tableau with cloud data sources within a business context.
• Develop efficient data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) pipelines.
• Manage data security and access controls within the cloud environment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues related to cloud-based data sources.

• Data Visualization Best Practices:

• Adhere to industry best practices for data visualization design and storytelling.
• Ensure that visualizations are visually appealing, easy to understand, and provide actionable insights.
• Maintain data accuracy and integrity throughout the visualization process, considering pharma data quality standards.

• Collaboration and Communication:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams within the organization.
• Effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to a collaborative and positive team environment.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in computer science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Tableau Developer with a strong understanding of Tableau's features and capabilities.
• Hands-on experience working with cloud, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and cloud infrastructure in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in SQL and data querying languages.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, applied to enterprise data.
• Tableau Data Analyst certification is a good to have

Working knowledge on Tableau Pulse is a plus
