Supply Chain Manager (Optical)

Job Title: Supply Chain Manager Optical Experience Required: 3–6 Years (Minimum 2 Years in Optical Stores) Location: Saran, Bihar Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in optical retail to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have 3–6 years of relevant experience, including at least 2 years in managing supply chain functions within optical stores or optical retail chains. Key Responsibilities: Manage end-to-end supply chain operations including procurement, inventory, logistics, and vendor management. Forecast demand and ensure optimal stock levels at stores and warehouses. Coordinate with store managers, vendors, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of frames, lenses, and accessories. Monitor and improve supply chain KPIs including inventory turnover, order accuracy, and delivery timelines. Maintain strong relationships with optical product vendors and negotiate terms and pricing. Ensure proper stock replenishment and minimize stockouts or overstocking at optical outlets. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (store operations, finance, and IT) to streamline processes. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. 3–6 years of experience in supply chain management, with at least 2 years in optical stores or optical retail. Strong understanding of optical products and inventory cycles (frames, lenses, accessories). Proficiency in inventory management systems and Excel. Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. Preferred: Experience with multi-location optical retail chains or hospital-based optical stores.
