Job Title: Mechanical Engineer – Planning and Execution Location: Hindalco Site, Odisha Reporting To: Site In-Charge / Project Manager Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly work schedules for mechanical activities. Coordinate with client engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure availability of work fronts and materials. Plan, supervise, and monitor installation, erection, and commissioning of mechanical equipment (e.g., heaters, silos, piping). Review drawings and specifications, ensure work is executed as per approved design and quality standards. Maintain site documentation, including daily progress reports, material receipts, inspection records. Manage manpower planning, deployment, and productivity on site. Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and statutory requirements. Support billing and measurement work by maintaining accurate BOQs and quantities executed. Attend client review meetings, report progress and constraints. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering. 3–7 years’ experience in mechanical site execution and planning, preferably in industrial or infrastructure projects.
