Subject Matter Expert (Mathematics)

Job Summary: We are looking for a highly knowledgeable and detail-oriented Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Mathematics to join our academic/content development team. The SME will be responsible for creating, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of math-related content for [K-12] audiences. You will play a key role in shaping learning experiences that are engaging, conceptually clear, and pedagogically sound. Key Responsibilities: Develop clear, accurate, and engaging content in mathematics, including textbook solutions, practice questions, assessments, and explanations. Review and validate math content created by other team members to ensure high academic standards and error-free delivery. Work closely with instructional designers, graphic designers, and other SMEs to create interactive and visually appealing learning materials. Stay updated with the latest curriculum changes, pedagogical trends, and educational technologies. Provide expert-level feedback on math problems and contribute to quality assurance processes. Support product development teams with subject insights, curriculum alignment, and learner-centric content strategies. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics or related field (Ph.D. is a plus). Proven expertise in core areas of mathematics [specify areas such as algebra, calculus, statistics, geometry, etc.]. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Prior experience in content development, teaching, or tutoring is preferred. Ability to use digital tools (e.g.,, MS Word, Google Docs, or math equation editors). Preferred Qualifications: Experience with K-12, university-level, or competitive exam curricula (e.g., SAT, GRE, IIT-JEE, etc.). Familiarity with e-learning platforms or LMS.
