Job Title: Academic Counselor

Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual counseling sessions with students via call .
• Provide guidance on course selection based on their requirement
• Organize workshops and seminars on topics such as study skills, test-taking strategies, and academic goal setting.
• Stay informed about academic policies, procedures, and requirements to provide accurate information to students.
• Maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and student progress.
• Serve as a liaison between students, faculty, and administration to facilitate communication and problem-solving.
• Stay current on trends and best practices in academic counseling to continuously improve services.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in academic advising, counseling, or student support services preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build rapport with students and foster a supportive environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Empathy and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
• Proficiency in computer software for record-keeping and communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines
