Structured Cabling Technician

As a skilled technician, you will be responsible for performing installation, termination, and testing of Cat6 and other structured cabling systems. Your duties will include mounting and configuring patch panels and network racks, as well as laying and routing network cables through various pathways such as conduits, ceilings, floors, and walls. You will be expected to conduct cable splicing, crimping, and wiring in accordance with project specifications. Additionally, your role will involve the installation, configuration, and maintenance of CCTV systems, including cameras and DVR/NVR units. It is essential to label and document cable paths and connections accurately to ensure efficient troubleshooting and maintenance processes. Troubleshooting connectivity issues for both network and CCTV systems will be a part of your daily tasks. Furthermore, you must ensure that all your work complies with safety regulations and quality standards to guarantee the reliability and efficiency of the systems you work on.
