Job Role Structural Engineer Key Responsibilities Active support in the development process with regard to economic efficiency and load-bearing function (incl. formal technical validation) Technical expertise in the area of load-bearing function analysis according to the current state of the art Load-bearing function analysis and deformation calculations as part of development projects in accordance with national and international standards. Verifiable documentation of performance data (test reports, proof of stability, etc.) Responsibility for binding performance data (load-bearing capacity and deformation data) Formal technical validation (type tests, approvals) Development of technical foundations (literature and standards research, tools, etc.) Market and competition monitoring Key Requirements Completed studies in the field of civil engineering (specializing in steel construction, statics) In-depth experience in structural engineering / product development Very good knowledge of relevant products and construction methods Independent handling of projects Willingness to work in virtual teams as part of international projects Strong analytical and conceptual skills IT knowledge ((especially structural analysis programs, FEM, Office applications, etc.) Qualification-M.
