Project Planning: Developing erection plans, schedules, and methodologies for the installation of structures or equipment, considering project requirements and specifications Supervision and Coordination: Overseeing the erection process, managing construction crews, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines Site Preparation: Collaborating with engineering teams to prepare the construction site, ensuring necessary equipment, materials, and resources are available Quality Assurance: Ensuring that the erection process adheres to quality standards, conducting inspections, and resolving any issues or discrepancies that may arise during installation Problem-Solving: Addressing and troubleshooting technical challenges or obstacles encountered during the erection process, proposing effective solutions Documentation: Maintaining records, reports, and documentation related to the erection process, including progress reports, safety records, and as-built drawings Client Communication: Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and project managers to provide updates, address concerns, and ensure project objectives are met Skills and Qualifications: Engineering Knowledge: Understanding of engineering principles, construction methods, and structural assembly processes Project Management: Ability to manage erection projects, coordinate resources, and ensure adherence to project schedules and budgets Technical Expertise: Familiarity with specialized equipment, tools, and techniques used in the erection of structures or systems Safety Compliance: Knowledge of safety regulations and practices in construction, ensuring a safe working environment for all involved parties

Key Responsibilities: Lead daily quality operations across the fabrication floor, ensuring compliance with welding codes (e.g., AWS D1.1, IS standards) , fabrication drawings, and customer specifications. Develop, implement, and maintain inspection plans, WPS/PQR/WPQ documentation , and quality checkpoints at each stage of fabrication. Coordinate with Production, Design, and Planning teams to address drawing deviations, fit-up issues, and process bottlenecks. Manage in-process and final inspections including visual inspection, dimensional checks, NDT (UT, RT, MPI, DPI) , and documentation of results. Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for any non-conformities. Champion quality initiatives based on Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma , and 5S principles to reduce rework, scrap, and delays. Liaise with external inspection agencies (e.g., TPI, customer representatives) and maintain traceable inspection documentation as per project quality plan. Ensure all fabrication activities align with relevant ISO 9001 , ISO 3834 , or EN1090 standards, and maintain audit readiness. Collaborate with Supply Chain and Procurement teams to qualify vendors , review incoming raw material test certificates (MTCs), and enforce material traceability. Support training programs for welders and fabricators on quality awareness, interpretation of fabrication drawings, and standard procedures .
