Staff Nurse

Job Title: Staff Nurse
Location: Poovanthi Rehabilitation, sivaganga, Tamil Nadu

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide holistic nursing care tailored to the needs of patients undergoing physical, psychological, and social rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physiotherapists, social workers, and occupational therapists, to develop and implement patient-specific care plans.
• Monitor and assess patients' health status, including vital signs, pain levels, and mobility progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the medical team, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Educate patients and their families about care techniques, lifestyle adjustments, and community reintegration strategies.
• Support patients in therapeutic activities such as wheelchair sports, mindfulness sessions, and community outings to enhance confidence and independence.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and ensure compliance with care protocols and safety standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing license (Tamil Nadu Nurses and Midwives Council or equivalent).
• Experience in rehabilitation, geriatrics, or acute care nursing is an advantage.
• Strong communication, empathy, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
