Staff CCE (Software Engineer & Tier 3 Customer Support)

As a seasoned Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, debugging, and analyzing logs to identify issues within Okta or in customer integrations. Your role will involve proposing bug fixes or architectural changes, collaborating closely with Development teams to implement solutions, and utilizing tools and automation as necessary. You will also need to understand customer use cases, act as a bridge between engineering and support teams, and take ownership of escalations. In addition to handling escalations effectively, you will be expected to provide status updates on escalated cases, collaborate across departments to address complex technical challenges, and guide and support junior team members. Your expertise will be crucial in identifying opportunities for new troubleshooting tools and performance analysis solutions for production operations staff. With a minimum of 8 years of industry experience in a multi-tenant production environment, you should possess a strong background in Customer Centric Engineering or sustaining team roles. Proficiency in Internet development technologies such as Java, MySQL, Tomcat, SAML, OAuth, OIDC, REST, and Public Cloud is essential. You should be action-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, adaptable, and a quick learner. Being a dependable self-starter capable of working independently, you will play a key role in after-hours on-call rotations for critical customer escalations. Experience in the Identity/IAM space would be advantageous. A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required to excel in this position.,
