Position : Social Studies (SST) Teacher Location : Shri Swaminarayan International School, Nagpur Experience : 1 to 3 Years Salary : ₹15,000 – ₹30,000 per month Curriculum : CBSE Job Summary We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Social Studies (SST) Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and Economics, as per the CBSE curriculum for middle and secondary school students. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver lessons in History, Geography, Civics, and related subjects in line with the CBSE curriculum. Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, and assignments to promote interactive and effective learning. Assess students' progress and provide constructive feedback through tests, assignments, and class participation. Encourage critical thinking and discussion in class. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Engage in school activities, parent meetings, and professional development sessions. Foster a disciplined and inclusive classroom environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Arts (History, Geography, Political Science, or related field). B.Ed (Bachelor of Education) is mandatory. 1 to 3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE school preferred. Strong communication skills in English. Good classroom management and student engagement skills. Passionate about teaching and student development.
