Sr. UI Automation testing ( Cypress with Javascript/Typescript )- C12- Pune

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Automation Tester to become a part of our dynamic Commodities Technology team. Your main responsibility will be to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of UI automation test suites. You will collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of top-notch software products. Your key responsibilities will include developing and maintaining automation scripts within established frameworks for UI testing, participating in the creation of test plans and test cases for functional and end-to-end testing, executing automated tests, and conducting initial analysis of results. You will also be responsible for reporting defects, monitoring them through the resolution process, assisting with manual testing when necessary, and collaborating with cross-functional and global teams including QA, Dev, and Product Teams. To excel in this role, you should possess 8-13 years of hands-on experience in QA automation, strong programming skills in JavaScript/Typescript, familiarity with UI automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, understanding of BDD concepts and Cucumber, knowledge of the Page Object Model (POM) design pattern, experience using Git for version control, excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, the ability to work effectively in a team environment, and good verbal and written communication skills. Preferred skills for this role include familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Tekton, Harness, or Kubernetes, domain knowledge in financial markets, and experience with tools such as JIRA, Zephyr, and Mongo DB.
