Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Purpose: The Industrial relations officer will drive Institutes collaboration with industry, leveraging campus strengths in academic programs, facilities, and faculty expertise.

This role is responsible for building and maintaining a robust database of Chennai based organizations, cultivating relationships, promoting Institutes offerings, and securing consultancy projects, corporate trainings, and upskilling partnerships to generate revenue for the institution.
Identify and pursue consultancy project opportunities aligned to Institutes areas of expertise and industry requirements.
Draft, review, and submit proposals, MoUs, and contracts in coordination with legal and finance teams.
Ensure clear documentation of scope, deliverables, timelines, and financial terms for each engagement.
Work closely with faculty, research centres, and administration to align offerings with industry trends and feedback.
Coordinate with marketing, finance, and operations teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects and programs.
Initiate and sustain regular communication with industry representatives through meetings, site visits, calls, and events.
Represent Institute at industry forums, conferences, and networking events to strengthen institutional visibility and rapport.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Law, or related field
