Role & responsibilities Manpower Planning, Talent Acquisition and Staffing: Manpower Planning, Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top-tier talent, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, managing the hiring process & ensuring alignment with company goals and culture. Employee / Industrial Relations: Handle employee concerns, Disputes and investigations, fostering a positive and respectful workplace. Employee counselling and mentoring. Conducting Townhall meetings. Performance Management: Manage performance evaluations, provide feedback, and develop improvement plans. Oversee a robust performance review process, setting clear objectives/goals/ benchmarks and guiding managers to foster productivity and accountability. Training and Development: Oversee training programs aimed at career development and skill enhancement, supporting employees in achieving their professional goals. Compensation and Benefits: Manage salary structures, benefits programs, and ensure fair and competitive compensation. Legal and Regulatory Compliance and Policy Management: Monitor and ensure adherence to labour laws, industry regulations, and internal company policies, making timely updates to HR policies /procedures and practices comply with all relevant laws and regulations . HR Strategy & Policies: Contribute to the development and implementation of overall HR strategy, aligning with business goals. Prepare and implement HR policies Contract Labour Management : Act as the primary point of contact for day to day contract labour concerns, Contract Labour Management in providing prompt compliances , fair, and confidential resolutions to maintain trust and satisfaction. Analyse workforce data to identify trends, address gaps, and recommend improvements that align with business objectives and operational requirements. Employee Engagement and Retention : Design and implement innovative programs to boost employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention. Leadership Development : Identify leadership opportunities and create impactful succession planning strategies to ensure organizational growth and continuity. HR Audit and Reporting : Planning, executing and reporting on HR Audits related to all HR aspects and involving in identifying risks, recommending corrective actions and collaborating with other Departments to ensure compliance improve HR practices . Create detailed HR reports and dashboards for senior management, providing actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. Other Administrative Tasks: Manage Payroll, MIS, Maintaining employee records and ensure accurate data. Preferred candidate profile Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, MHRM or a related field is typically required. Experience: 18 to 25 l years of experience in HR in manufacturing sector/ Plant , including recruitment, employee relations, performance management , contract labour management and liaisoning with Government Authorities and Local Bodies. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills are essential. Knowledge: Expertise in employment law, HR policies, and best practices is expected. Professional Certifications: SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certifications are often preferred. Technical Skills: HR Software Proficiency: Ability to use SAP- SF or SAP, to manage employee data, payroll, and benefits. Data Analysis: Competency in analyzing HR metrics and data, such as turnover rates, employee satisfaction surveys, and performance metrics, to make informed decisions and improve HR processes. Employment Law Knowledge: Understanding of labor laws, regulations, and compliance requirements, including FMLA, ADA, and OSHA, to ensure the organization adheres to legal standards. Compensation and Benefits Administration: Skills in designing, managing, and evaluating compensation structures and benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and bonuses. Recruitment Tools: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms.
