Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute detailed production schedules based on sales forecasts, customer orders, and inventory levels.
Plan raw material, packing material, and intermediate requirements to meet production schedules.
Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimum stock of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods.
Coordinate with Production, QC, QA, Warehouse, and Procurement to align on material availability and capacity planning.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and cGMP requirements in all planning activities.
Prepare and analyze daily/monthly MIS reports on production status, inventory, material movement, and capacity utilization.
Lead cross-functional planning meetings and daily production review meetings.
Drive improvements in planning accuracy and inventory turnover ratios.
Implement ERP/SAP-based planning tools for real-time inventory and production tracking.
Manage change controls and deviations related to material planning and batch scheduling.
Support audits by providing planning and inventory documentation as required.
Optimize batch size planning and reduce production lead times through effective scheduling techniques.
Support business continuity planning and risk mitigation in supply chain activities.

Key Skills Required:

Strong knowledge of PPIC functions in the API manufacturing domain.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
Proficient in MS Excel, production reports, and planning tools.
Excellent coordination, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Knowledge of GMP/ICH guidelines and regulatory expectations in pharma.
