About the job:

As a Specification Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving product specifications across target architect, consultant, and contractor groups to enhance market penetration, increase revenue, and improve profit margins. This role focuses on creating and maintaining long-term business relationships and influencing decision-makers to incorporate the company's products into their project specifications.

Key Responsibilities: 1. Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, consultants, project owners, contractors, and applicators to drive product specifications. 2. Lead technical specification initiatives by applying deep technical expertise and presenting a strong value proposition. 3. Identify and develop new specification opportunities in the construction and industrial sectors. 4. Organize and deliver technical seminars, workshops, and roadshows to promote brand awareness and showcase product capabilities. 5. Develop systems to monitor, track, and convert specification opportunities into actionable sales leads. 6. Represent the company at trade exhibitions, conferences, and industry events to enhance visibility and engage with trade associations. 7. Track project progress from specification through tendering and contractor engagement, ensuring timely stakeholder involvement. 8. Align specification activities with direct sales goals, co-own local sales targets, and track performance metrics. 9. Provide regular updates and hand over project details to the sales team to ensure seamless execution. 10. Support the training of internal teams on specification-based selling and technical solutions. 11. Assist with field issue resolution and evaluate product applications in practical settings. 12. Prepare and deliver technical documentation, proposals, presentations, and responses to client queries on time.
