As a Business Development Manager at SOLX Green Energy, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in northern Kerala by identifying potential prospects and selling our premium Solar Rooftop Solutions. With over 100+ projects completed in the past 5 years, SOLX is looking for a dynamic individual to join our team. Your responsibilities at SOLX will include: - Identifying potential prospects and promoting our high-quality solar photovoltaic solutions. - Establishing connections with Channel Partners such as architects, building contractors, and electrical contractors to generate leads. - Conducting business development activities including cold calling, arranging online or in-person presentations, and demos. - Handling all necessary documentation, preparing proposals, and drafting contracts for approval. - Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate for this role should possess the following qualifications and skills: - A university degree, engineering degree, or diploma, preferably in Electrical Engineering; an MBA would be considered an advantage. - Strong network and connections with architects, contractors, builders, etc. - 1-3 years of experience in sales roles within reputable rooftop solar installation companies. - Previous experience in B2C sales related to solar photovoltaic solutions, solar rooftop solutions, green energy products, or similar fields. - Excellent communication skills with a proven track record in sales. - Proficiency in MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. - Fluency in English and Malayalam.
