Solution Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Network Solution Engineer to design, develop, and deliver innovative network solutions that meet evolving customer requirements. The ideal candidate will bring 10-13 years of relevant infrastructure experience, with excellent hands-on expertise in networking technologies and solutioning capabilities to ensure successful end-to-end solution delivery. Experience/Domain Knowledge needed: Primary Skills (hands on with networking deployments mandatory requirement): • Network Routing & Switching, Checkpoint and FortiGate Firewalls and VMWare SDWAN • Zscaler Internet access and Zscaler Private Access solutions • Network Solutioning Secondary Skills (Secondary skills – good to have): • Virtualisation (VMWare / Nutanix) • AWS / Azure Cloud Technologies • Familiarity with network automation and scripting Responsibilities: • Design and propose high-level and low-level network architectures, including LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, MPLS, SASE and cloud connectivity. • Support with Build and upgrade activities for the above solutions. • Lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure and network-related projects, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. • Interact with Customers for understanding and supporting their requirements an deliver optimal solutions in an efficient manner. • Lead solution design workshops and technical presentations for customers and stakeholders. • Create detailed design documents, implementation plans, and BOMs (Bill of Materials). • Ensure proposed solutions meet performance, security, and compliance requirements. • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in network design and security. • Drive end-to-end project execution—from solutioning, planning, and implementation to testing and operational handover. • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, ensuring transparent status updates and stakeholder alignment. • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement timely solutions and escalation paths. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including network engineers, architects, operations, security, and vendors to drive project execution. • Proactively identify project risks, issues, and dependencies; implement timely solutions and escalation paths. • Track and report on project KPIs, progress, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
