Software Testing Engineer

We are looking for Software Testing Engineers with 4-6 years of experience in manual and automation testing for enterprise-grade applications. As a Software Testing Engineer, you will play a key role in creating test strategies, writing test cases, executing automation scripts, and performing regression, API, UI, and functional testing. Your responsibilities will include analyzing requirements, writing detailed test cases, and executing test plans. You will design and develop test automation scripts using tools like Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Postman. Conducting functional, integration, regression, UI, and API testing across platforms will also be a crucial part of your role. You will use tools like JIRA, TestRail, Azure Test Plans, or similar for test tracking and defect management. Collaboration with developers, business analysts, and DevOps to deliver high-quality software will be essential. Participation in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, retrospectives, and demos is expected. Optionally, you may also conduct load and performance testing using tools like JMeter or LoadRunner. You should have at least 4-6 years of testing experience with a minimum of 2+ years in automation. Hands-on experience with testing tools and frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, REST-assured, or Cypress is required. A good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps testing practices is essential. Experience in testing REST APIs using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools is preferred. Familiarity with version control and CI tools like Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps is a plus. Strong attention to detail and documentation skills are necessary for success in this role. Having an ISTQB Certified Tester - Foundation Level or equivalent certification and being Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals would be advantageous, especially if cloud testing is involved.
