As a Software Principal Engineer in Bangalore, you will be at the forefront of designing and developing software using cutting-edge technologies, tools, and methodologies in collaboration with both internal and external partners. Your primary responsibility will be to develop sophisticated systems and software solutions aligned with our customers" business goals and requirements. You will work closely with business stakeholders, conduct data analysis, ETL tasks, and data administration independently. Additionally, you will design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL pipelines, collaborating with various teams to ensure data requirements are met. It will be essential to stay updated on industry trends, mentor junior data engineers, and provide technical guidance as needed. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of industry experience with a focus on advanced ETL skills, including proficiency in tools like Airflow, ControlM, or Informatica. Strong Python programming skills for data manipulation, along with a solid understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, are required. Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka, as well as familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, ADF Synapse, and SQLserver, will be beneficial. Desirable qualifications include experience with product data and product lifecycle management, as well as working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
