Software Engineer(Node js)

As a Senior Node.js Developer located in Gurugram, you will leverage your 4+ years of experience in JavaScript and backend development to contribute to the development of scalable applications. Your primary responsibilities will include developing and maintaining Node.js server-side applications, designing robust RESTful APIs, and collaborating with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic. You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features while optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability. Moreover, you will manage data interchange between the server and users, utilizing efficient data storage solutions with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or other similar technologies. Implementing security and data protection measures, troubleshooting and debugging applications, contributing to architectural decisions, and performing code reviews are also key aspects of your role. Collaboration with DevOps and SRE teams to maintain a smooth CI/CD pipeline will be essential for ensuring efficient deployment processes. To excel in this role, you should possess 4+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js and JavaScript development, proficiency in building REST APIs using Express.js or similar frameworks, a strong understanding of JavaScript (including ES6+ features), and practical experience with databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, along with experience in version control systems like Git, will be advantageous. Knowledge of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and React.js/Angular is considered a plus, and strong problem-solving skills are essential for success in a collaborative environment.
