Seeking a Product Management/IT Leader to join GDIA and lead a team to provide the SCA Analytics team with Software Engineering support.

Description:

This Supply Chain Analytics Product Line Manager position is responsible for managing Product group in ISA (Supply Chain) and managing the Product line under this product group. The Supply Chain Analytics Product Line Manager will partner with our Data Scientist colleagues to create new products supporting the MP&L and Purchasing businesses. This position will manage a total team size of close to 10 people across multiple geographies.

This position is a Product Line Manager role, leading a software development team to create new products. This position will require knowledge of the Ford ecosystem, ability to work across teams, and ability to manage and highlight dependencies at scale.
The selected candidate will need to build relationships with our Data Scientist Partners and Peer Product Line Manager, grow their development team, and lead the team in the PDO Model. The SCA Product Line Manager will lead the development of POCs to production-ready products.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and work with PMs across Product Line teams in the Product Group, empowering and optimizing Members contributions.
2. Responsible for maximizing the smooth flow of work through the Product Line teams ensuring teams are well served and measuring delivery KPIs
3. Works with Product Line Owner on creating demand and aligning the requirements to the Business demands.
4. Implement a roadmap and sourcing and skilling strategy for onboarding products to GCP.
5. Guide Product Teams to upskill and implement Gen AI, look for potential opportunities to implement LLM.
6. Work with Data Factory team to implement Data ingestion, data products.
7. Removes blockers and orchestrates dependencies for the Product team.
8. Ensures Governance ceremonies occur on a regular cadence, initiatives are properly decomposed, Flow metrics are tracked, and decisions/actions taken based on metrics.
9. Mentor, coach, and provide best practices to Product Teams to guide them on management and development of their respective foundational products within the matched pair Product Owner – Manager and Agile software methods.
10. Drive cross functional integration across other product groups as well as various teams within the same product group.
11. Collaborate with Chief Architects and monitor new demand processes to identify emerging foundational Product needs and domains.

Qualifications:

• B.S. in Computer Science or other related degree.
• 10+ years of progressive responsibilities in management of software delivery experience.
• 3+ years' experience as a Leader leading software/data engineering team
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, Gen AI preferred.
• Google Digital Leader certification preferred.
• Deep understanding of Agile & PDO processes
• Experience working across domains, skill teams and technology
• Ability to multitask, change priorities at a moment’s notice, and be able to lead teams effectively.
• Ability to collaborate, negotiate, and work effectively with coworkers at all levels.
