Software Engineer

As a Software Engineer at Praxair India Private Limited in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, you will have the opportunity to work in the Artificial Intelligence team, which is Linde's AI global corporate division engaged with real business challenges and opportunities across multiple countries. Your focus will be on supporting the AI team by extending existing and developing new AI products for various use cases within Linde's business and value chain. In this role, you will collaborate with Project Managers, Data Scientists, Data and Software Engineers, and other members of the international team to drive innovation and create impactful solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing new and existing AI products, working with customer data to build cloud-based applications, experimenting with CI/CD tooling for software delivery, conducting reliability and performance testing, and establishing process management tools and application monitoring. Additionally, you will be involved in developing prototypes, replication pipelines, and connecting solutions to other systems. To excel in this role, you should have a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience, with strong skills in backend (e.g., Python) and frontend (e.g., react) development. You should be able to write maintainable code using the latest conventions, have experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, deployment of applications, and knowledge of major cloud platforms like Azure, AWS, or GCP. Strong communication skills in English, experience working with data scientists and developers, familiarity with IT administration and data security practices, and knowledge of stakeholder management in large organizations are also desirable.
