Software Engineer I

• Develop application features with your Java expertise, following industry-standard best practices
• Build and maintain scalable microservices using Java and Golang with a focus on system reliability and performance
• Write efficient SQL queries and implement database optimizations for PostgreSQL databases
• Monitor API performance of web applications and implement improvements to enhance response times
• Resolve critical issues and production bugs in a timely manner through systematic debugging and testing
• Actively participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency across the codebase
• Contribute to internal tools that streamline operations and automate workflows for increased efficiency

Technical Requirements

• Strong command of data structures, algorithms, and computational complexity
• Proficient in Java development with solid understanding of multithreading and performance optimization
• Experience with SQL query writing and database performance tuning
• Understanding of RESTful API design and implementation
• Knowledge of software design patterns and object-oriented principles
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and we'll-tested code
• Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS/Azure)

• CS/Engineering graduate or equivalent with demonstrated programming capabilities
