Software Engineer Consultant/Expert

As a Software Engineer Consultant/Expert at TekWissen, located in Chennai, you will leverage your more than 6 years of SAP consulting experience in SAP SD in SAP S4 HANA to provide strong functional expertise in designing, building, and integrating SAP SD processes. Your responsibilities will include analyzing and understanding business requirements related to sales, distribution, and customer service, facilitating workshops to collect and document business requirements, and proposing solutions to optimize processes. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and configuring SAP SD modules, developing functional specifications, mapping business processes to SAP SD functionalities, and testing and validating SAP SD configurations. You will troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SAP SD, act as a liaison between business functions and the technical team, and document functional designs, test cases, and results. Additionally, you will participate in the delivery of small to medium-sized projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior team members. To succeed in this position, you must possess a strong understanding of SAP SD modules and functionalities, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication and interpersonal abilities. You should be able to work both independently and as part of a team, have experience with SAP SD processes such as sales order management, pricing, billing, and customer service, and knowledge of SAP ERP modules and their integration with SAP SD. Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools, as well as an understanding of Agile project methodologies, is also required. The required skills for this role include expertise in SAP ERP, while experience in SAP FICO in SAP S4 HANA is preferred. Formal SAP training and certification or knowledge would be advantageous.
