Software Engineer - Base 24 EPS experience

The role involves designing and developing a variety of technology applications and services within the change management framework. This includes activities such as design, development, testing, and implementation of Acquiring application software. The Acquiring portfolio of applications supports services such as ATMs, EFTPOS, Ecommerce Gateways, and interfacing with downstream applications for Authorization, reporting, Fraud, Settlement, and reconciliation. Key Responsibilities: - Design, estimate, code, and test enhancement/development projects for assigned applications (Acquiring applications - Base24 EPS and UPF) to be implemented on Cloud Technology platforms like Azure and AWS. - Proficiency in Groovy, C++, and working on Linux platform. - Create support documentation and offer guidance on applications for proactive support functions. - Contribute to designing and developing changes in technology applications to ensure high-quality, supportable changes are delivered. - Participate in reviewing and redesigning processes or procedures to enhance team productivity and efficiency. Success Metrics: - Successful implementation of projects leading to business benefits realization. - Development of tools and processes for the efficient operation of the Delivery platform. Critical Experience: - 7 to 10+ years of experience in Switching technology environment within a Tier 1 Bank. - 5+ years of analysis and design experience in complex projects. - Demonstrated experience in designing and delivering high-quality changes to a switching system using CI/CD pipeline. - Experience in cloud migration projects. Core Skills & Capabilities: - 7 to 10+ years of relevant software development experience in a Tier 1 Bank. - Minimum 3 years of experience in Base 24 EPS and/or UPF. - Proficiency in cloud technologies like AWS and Azure. - Strong experience in Java, Groovy, C++, and DevOps tools like Jenkins. - Understanding of the software development lifecycle, including development, testing, implementation, and production support. - Understanding of the Acquiring business domain.,
