Job Description

As a Power BI Architect at UST with over 12 years of experience, including a minimum of 5 years specializing in Power BI architecture and development, you will be responsible for leading the design and implementation of enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. Your role involves defining BI strategy, architecture, and governance practices using Power BI across large-scale environments. You will leverage your deep expertise in Power BI, data modeling, cloud integration, and leadership to drive BI initiatives forward. Your key responsibilities will include designing and implementing enterprise-wide Power BI architecture, developing complex BI solutions that integrate various data sources, establishing best practices for Power BI development, collaborating with stakeholders to gather business requirements, administering Power BI environments, mentoring BI developers and analysts, utilizing external tools for advanced BI model management and deployments, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring compliance with enterprise data governance, security, and privacy policies. Additionally, you will stay updated on industry trends and evaluate emerging BI tools and methodologies. To excel in this role, you must possess expertise in designing scalable BI solutions using Power BI, strong knowledge of Star/Snowflake schema modeling, DAX, and Power BI performance optimization, proficiency in Power BI administration and governance practices, advanced SQL skills, experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP, knowledge of SSAS, SSRS, and tools like Tabular Editor and DAX Studio, skills in version control (Git) and CI/CD processes, as well as excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder engagement abilities.
