Job Description

Role & responsibilities Participating in the technical design process with the Integration Architect(s) and Functional Team on key integration project(s) Provide expert-level technical support for WebMethods Integration Server and related components. Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to system performance, connectivity, and functionality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve integration-related problems. Perform routine system maintenance tasks, including applying patches and updates. Monitor system performance, analyze logs, and proactively address potential issues. Ensure high availability and reliability of the WebMethods platform. Collaborate with application development teams to design, develop, and maintain integrations using WebMethods. Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and configurations. Developing Integration applications as per the specifications using the webMethods Integration Server software and JAVA core technologies Unit testing your code using SDLC standard methodologies Developing programming specifications Participating in all phases of system and integration testing Coordinating the delivery of quality artifacts across multiple projects in a timely manner Completing estimates and work plans with the assistance of more senior team members as appropriate for design, development, implementation and rollout tasks Assisting other personnel on assignments including mentoring or providing on-the-job training to more junior associates Skills: Expert level knowledge of Software AG WebMethods 10.x Integration Server and related technologies Understanding or Experience in IPAAS is Added Advantage. Experience with API management and ESB concepts. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience documenting and communicating integration designs aligned to business requirements. Experience designing queries and working with standard object/relational databases such as Oracle MS SQL Experience with Source control/Bug Tracking/Automated Build tools Jira and Jenkins o Software AG WebMethods Integration Server performance tuning experience a plus Strong Knowledge of SOAP REST JMS architecture Concepts and PUB/SUB Pattern Strong knowledge of web services security Strong knowledge of Java SE Java EE XML XML Schema XSD XSLT/XPath and JSON technologies Experience: 8 years of experience in development and integration solutions support 4 years of experience developing with Flow services and portal technologies 4 years of coding skills in Java (Java SE Java EE XML XML Schema XSD XSLT/XPath and JSON technologies) and SQL 4 years of experience in developing SOAP/REST web services 4 years of experience working with web services security 4 years of experience with transmission protocols (http/s ftp/s sftp) Experience in API Gateway Preferred Education & Training: BS Computer Science, Engineering or related field
