SmartCOMM Developer- 6+ Years-PAN India - Full Time

As a Senior SmartCOMM Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of customer communication solutions for a top-tier banking client. Your deep expertise in SmartCOMM will be crucial in ensuring scalable document composition, integration with enterprise systems, and adherence to financial compliance and data protection standards. Your role will involve modernizing customer correspondence across digital and print channels, focusing on security, clarity, and regulatory compliance (APRA, ASIC, etc.). Your key responsibilities will include designing and developing dynamic communication templates using SmartCOMM, collaborating with various teams to gather communication and compliance requirements, developing SmartCOMM assets, integrating SmartCOMM with banking platforms, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance standards are met. You will also provide technical mentorship to junior developers, support production issues, and maintain technical documentation. To be successful in this role, you should have at least 5 years of experience in SmartCOMM/Thunderhead, with a strong background in banking or financial services. Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, XPath, and conditional logic is essential, along with experience in integrating SmartCOMM with enterprise systems and APIs. Knowledge of customer communications management best practices, Agile delivery frameworks, and Australian financial regulations is preferred. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required, although equivalent industry experience will also be considered. SmartCOMM certification or Thunderhead training, exposure to cloud-based deployments, and prior experience in digital transformation teams in financial institutions are desirable qualifications for this role.
