Slitting Machine Operator

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Slitting Machine Operator to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have 5–6 years of hands-on experience operating slitting machines in the flexible packaging industry. You will be responsible for setting up, running, and maintaining slitting machines to ensure high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor slitting machines to slit jumbo rolls into specified widths.
• Read and interpret job orders to determine specifications.
• Perform machine setup including loading rolls, adjusting blades, tension settings, and alignment.
• Inspect finished rolls for accuracy in size, alignment, and quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor machine issues.
• Maintain the cleanliness and safety of the machine and work area.
• Maintain production logs and report issues to the supervisor.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 to 6 years of experience operating slitting machines in the flexible packaging industry (e.g., BOPP, PET, CPP, Nylon films).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of machine operations.
• Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision.
• Knowledge of basic quality checks and safety standards.
• Willingness to work shifts, including night shifts if required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
