Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with 4-6 years of relevant experience in real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate estimates, BOQs, work orders, and ensuring cost control through effective reconciliation and analysis of materials and quantities. Key Responsibilities: Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) based on drawings, specifications, and project requirements. Prepare and issue work orders to vendors and contractors as per project scope. Conduct cost estimation for civil and structural works, including materials and labor. Perform reconciliation of steel, concrete, blocks, and other bulk materials with respect to project consumption and billing. Develop and maintain area statements for project tracking and cost management. Conduct rate analysis and costing for various construction activities and materials. Collect and analyze quotations from vendors , negotiate rates, and assist in finalizing vendors/contractors. Monitor project budgets and ensure alignment with estimated costs. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure accurate cost tracking. Prepare material requirement statements and assist in procurement planning. Generate periodic cost reports, variance reports, and MIS for management review. Ensure all activities are in line with the project timeline and budget constraints. Requirements: B.E. in Civil Engineering / M.Tech in Civil or Construction Management (mandatory). 4-6 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor in real estate, residential, or commercial construction. Strong practical knowledge of BOQ preparation, work orders, estimation, and cost control . Proficient in reconciliation of steel, concrete, blockwork, and bulk materials . Ability to prepare area statements and rate analysis independently. Experience in costing, budgeting, and vendor billing processes. Excellent skills in Excel, MS Office , and estimation software (AutoCAD, Candy, or similar). Good understanding of construction contracts, tenders, and procurement . Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and negotiation skills. Effective communication and coordination abilities.
