Service engineer PCB repairs

The role of Service Engineer (PCB Repairs) involves repairing and replacing faulty PCB components in medical devices, such as SMD components, resistors, capacitors, and ICs, utilizing precision tools. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing medical devices as required to ensure they are functioning properly and efficiently. It is essential to diagnose and rectify technical issues in medical devices, identify faults in PCB components and circuits, and take corrective actions for breakdown calls within specified time frames. Promptly responding to service calls or requests and resolving technical problems in medical devices, including Criticalcare and life-support systems, are crucial aspects of this role. As a Service Engineer, you will be expected to detect and rectify faults in PCBs, SMD components, and electrical circuits, as well as perform repairs on key components (PCBs, SMD components, ICs, resistors) in medical devices. Providing both on-site and remote technical support to customers is an integral part of the job, requiring collaboration with the team to troubleshoot complex issues and develop innovative solutions to enhance device performance and reliability. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field, along with 2-3 years of experience in PCB repair within the medical device industry. Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing PCBs, including SMD and through-hole components, is a prerequisite for this role.
