Service Driver

A Service Driver in a car dealership's "store room" (likely referring to the vehicle storage area) is primarily responsible for safely and efficiently transporting vehicles to and from various locations, including the service area, customer locations, or other dealership facilities. They also play a role in maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicles. Key Responsibilities:

• Vehicle Transport:Safely and efficiently moving vehicles between the storage area, service bays, customer drop-off/pick-up locations, and potentially other dealership sites.
• Vehicle Maintenance:Performing basic vehicle checks (e.g., fluid levels, tire pressure) and reporting any issues to the service department.
• Customer Service:Interacting with customers during vehicle pick-up and drop-off, potentially assisting with paperwork and ensuring a positive experience.
• Logistics:Maintaining accurate records of vehicle movements, mileage, and fuel levels.
• Safety:Adhering to all traffic laws and dealership safety procedures while operating vehicles.
• Cleanliness:Keeping vehicles clean and presentable both inside and out.
• Communication:Communicating effectively with service advisors, managers, and other staff regarding vehicle status and any issues.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License: A clean driving record is essential.
• Driving Proficiency: Safe and competent driving skills are required.
• Knowledge of Traffic Laws: Understanding and adhering to traffic regulations is crucial.
• Customer Service Skills: Interacting professionally and courteously with customers is important.
• Physical Stamina: The job may involve some physical activity, such as walking, standing, and potentially some lifting.
• Communication Skills: Clear communication with colleagues and customers is needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹8,086.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
