SEO Executive

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a motivated and results-driven SEO Executive to join our growing digital marketing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of search engine algorithms, SEO best practices, and hands-on experience in driving organic traffic and improving search engine rankings.

Preferred candidate profile

• Perform keyword research to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities.
  
• Develop and implement effective on-page and off-page SEO strategies.
  
• Manage and optimize website content, meta tags, headings, URLs, and internal linking.
  
• Conduct technical SEO audits and coordinate with the development team to resolve issues (e.g., site speed, mobile optimization, crawl errors).
  
• Create and submit XML sitemaps and manage robots.txt files.
  
• Monitor and analyze website performance using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, and other SEO tools.
  
• Track, report, and analyze website analytics, keyword rankings, and backlinks.
  
• Collaborate with the content team to develop SEO-friendly content and blog strategies.
  
• Build high-quality backlinks through outreach, guest posting, and other ethical link-building tactics.
  
• Stay up to date with the latest SEO and digital marketing trends, algorithm updates, and industry developments.

Key Skills & Competencies:

• Solid understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking factors.
  
• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, etc.
  
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website administration (WordPress preferred).
  
• Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  
• Familiarity with local SEO and e-commerce SEO is a plus.
