Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum 7 years of experience in Verification and Validation (VV) within the Automotive domain.
Strong domain expertise in test and verification processes for automotive systems, with solid understanding of Electrical and Electronic (EE) systems.
Experience in truck applications; prior knowledge of vehicle dynamics is a plus.
Hands-on experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), or Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) environments (minimum 5 years).
At least 2 years in vehicle-level verification activities and 1 year in model development/validation using tools like Simulink.
Proficiency with CANalyzer/CANoe, dSPACE tools, and version control systems.
Experience in ECU testing, test automation, and software release management.
Familiar with ASPICE, ISO 26262 (Functional Safety), and vehicle network protocols (CAN, J1939, LIN, Ethernet).
Exposure to software verification tools, agile practices, continuous integration (Jenkins is a plus).
Strong English communication skills (written and verbal).
Familiarity with test equipment and emerging testing methodologies.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop test specifications and verification plans based on scope and requirements.
Align test activities with product goals through collaboration with SW, Function Developers, and Product Owners.
Analyze requirements and design documents to define verification strategies, incorporating risk assessments (e.g., FMEA).
Plan, create, execute, and maintain test cases, scripts, specifications, and Function Variants (FVs) for automotive software and HIL systems.
Perform system and subsystem-level testing; support CI/CD pipelines with quality analysis.
Estimate and manage workloads for test development and execution.
Conduct static/dynamic/code coverage analyses and develop automation scripts to enhance test efficiency.
Ensure test artifact accuracy, requirement coverage, and proper mapping of FVs to test systems.
Execute tests, log results, troubleshoot failures, and report defects.
Generate final test reports and coordinate reviews with stakeholders.
Lead continuous improvement efforts through Lessons Learned and support adoption of advanced verification methods (e.g., model-based testing).
Mentor team members and promote verification best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and interface with HIL maintenance for hardware/model updates.
Support HIL commissioning/upgrades and stay updated on verification trends and tools.
