Job Description

Total experience 10+ years.
Deep knowledge of MongoDB database administration.
Strong understanding of MongoDB architecture and internals.
Experience with backup/restore, replica set, sharding, and patching/upgrades
.
Hands-on with Ops Manager for MongoDB monitoring and management.
Proven experience in the banking/financial services domain is
mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Unix/Linux operating systems.
Good understanding of Agile
practices and modern automation tools like Ansible, Jenkins, Terraform.
Proficiency in scripting
languages such as Bash and Python
Extensive experience in PostgreSQL database administration.
Expertise in PostgreSQL HA, clustering
,
and
monitoring tools.
Proficient in backup/restore, performance tuning, and diagnostics.
Good knowledge of SQL and PG PL/SQL.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Administer, monitor, and optimize
MongoDB and PostgreSQL
databases.
Ensure high availability and disaster recovery across environments.
Perform database patching, upgrades, and migrations
.
Implement and manage security best practices, logging, and auditing.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to implement automation and CI/CD pipelines.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues efficiently.
Automate database administration tasks using Bash/Python/Ansible.
Handle backup/restore, upgrades, replication, sharding, and performance tuning.
Ensure high availability (HA
)
and disaster recovery (DR) for critical applications.

Bachelor s or master s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
