Senior Software Test Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Software QA Engineer. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both manual and automation testing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, implement, and maintain QA processes and best practices.
• Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Design and develop automation frameworks using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar.
• Participate in requirement reviews and provide inputs on test-ability of functional requirements.
• Coordinate with development and product teams for timely releases.
• Track and report key quality metrics and ensure defect tracking is maintained.
• Conduct code reviews for automation scripts.
• Continuously work on process improvements and QA strategy.
• Ensure test coverage and documentation is complete and up-to-date.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience in both Manual and Automation Testing.
• Proficiency in automation tools like Playwright, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or similar.
• Good knowledge of API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured, etc.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation frameworks.
• Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies.
• Good knowledge of test management tools like Jira, TestRail, etc.
• Experience in leading or mentoring a QA team.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
