Senior Software Engineer(EOS)

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Analyze, define, and document software requirements using tools like Polarion or DOORS.
• Design high-level and low-level software architectures using UML and other modeling tools.
• Develop and implement embedded C code for real-time automotive applications.
• Integrate and validate software components for microcontroller-based systems (especially NXP S32K3xx series).
• Conduct unit testing and system-level testing using tools such as CANoe.
• Perform static code analysis using tools like Coverity, VectorCast, and Lint to ensure code quality.
• Adhere to MISRA coding standards and ensure compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Maintain traceability across requirements, design, implementation, and testing using tools like Reqtify.
• Participate in peer code reviews and inspections to ensure software quality and best practices.
• Collaborate effectively within Agile Scrum teams to deliver reliable software increments.
• Support continuous integration and version control using tools such as Git, SVN, or ClearCase.

Skills Required:

• 6-10 years of hands-on experience in embedded systems software design, development, and testing.
• Proficient in Embedded C programming and software debugging techniques.
• Strong understanding of electronics fundamentals and real-time operating systems (RTOS).
• Deep experience with CAN communication protocols (UDS, KWP2000, J1939).
• Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies, including Scrum practices.
• Experience in device driver development for embedded hardware platforms.
• Knowledge of MISRA-C:2000/MISRA-C:2012 standards and best coding practices.
• Experience with tools for requirements management (Polarion, DOORS) and traceability (Reqtify).
• Skilled in using version control systems (SVN, Git, ClearCase).
• Proficient with software modeling tools like Enterprise Architect or similar UML tools.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with NXP S32K3xx series microcontrollers.
• Automotive software development background with exposure to ASPICE or ISO 26262 (nice to have).
