Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

  • Want to create new and innovative products in hydrographic software.
  • Are willing to learn from and teach colleagues about advanced topics.
  • Are a team player who excels working either remotely or in-person.
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Are willing to present at conferences or submit papers based on work.
  • Have strong customer focus.
  • Are ready to take a high degree of ownership over a product.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Expertise with C++, Git, and Atlassian.
  • Perform on an expert level with computer science topics such as data structures and algorithms.
  • Preferred knowledge of hydrographic topics (Geodesy, Surveying and Processing).
  • Professional experience developing software in a team-based setting.
  • Experience testing integrated hardware with stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of Agile Development (CSM a plus).
  • Experience presenting in a professional or conference setting.
  • Experience in applied AI technology through C++.
  • Experience in creating AI proof of concepts to show business viability.
  • Experience deploying AI projects to customers.

Education and Experience:

  • Preferred 5 years of experience with C++.
  • Attended an accredited University and achieved a minimum of a bachelors degree in Computer Science or Hydrographic Area.
  • Experience developing software at a professional level.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team environment of engineers to meet aggressive goals and high-quality standards.
