Join our Chargeback Platform team within the Disputes domain of the Risk organization as a Backend Java Developer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and constructing scalable, high-performing systems that focus on complex chargeback processing solutions. Your expertise in Java, distributed systems, and API development will drive innovative enhancements to improve dispute resolution efficiency and accuracy. The team you will be a part of is dynamic and dedicated to delivering solutions within the intricate landscape of Chargeback Disputes. Working closely with the broader Risk organization, we emphasize ownership, curiosity, and teamwork. Job Responsibilities: - Deliver end-to-end solutions throughout the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) phases, including design, implementation, testing, delivery, and operations based on guidance from senior roles. - Provide insights to management on project-level matters. - Mentor junior engineers within the team. - Operate independently with minimal supervision, making technical decisions by leveraging knowledge of internal standards and industry best practices. - Apply expertise in technical best practices to drive decision-making processes. Minimum Qualifications: - Possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience along with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
