Senior Qa Engineer

Job Summary

AlgoShack Technologies is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Senior QA Engineer with 58 years of experience to join our dynamic QA team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in UI automation testing, manual testing practices, and experience in debugging CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform UI automation testing using

  JavaScript, Playwright, and BDD Cucumber

  with CI/CD pipelines integrated via

  GitHub Actions

  .
• Conduct thorough manual testing with a keen eye for detail to ensure web application quality.
• Debug and fix failures in nightly sanity/regression test pipelines.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts and test suites.
• Write and manage test cases, bug reports, and test documentation using Azure DevOps.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure quality deliverables.
• Understand requirements and communicate effectively with stakeholders to deliver high-quality work on time.
• Actively participate in code reviews, test plan discussions, and release planning.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of experience in UI automation with JavaScript, Playwright, and BDD Cucumber.
• Experience with CI/CD tools, specifically GitHub Actions.
• Solid knowledge of core JavaScript and test automation frameworks.
• Strong manual testing experience with a focus on identifying edge cases and UX issues.
• Good understanding of testing fundamentals: test case writing, defect lifecycle, PR handling, etc.
• Hands-on experience using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a time-bound, quality-focused manner.
