This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working on real-time systems, and is comfortable with modern cloud technologies. Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and WebSocket services in Python. Build and manage webhook integrations for real-time, event-driven applications. Design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS using services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, and more. Ensure performance, reliability, and security of backend services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, DevOps, and product. Debug and troubleshoot production issues in a distributed architecture. Write clean, testable, and well-documented code using unit and integration testing . Required Skills 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in Python backend development. Strong skills in REST APIs , WebSockets , and webhook implementations. Experience with core AWS services (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, EC2, RDS, DynamoDB). Understanding of microservices and serverless architecture . Proficient in Flask , FastAPI , or similar frameworks. Solid knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiar with CI/CD pipelines , Docker , and optionally Kubernetes . Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently. Effective communication and collaboration skills. Nice to Have Experience in event-driven architectures (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). Exposure to GraphQL APIs. Contributions to open-source projects or developer communities.
