Job Description

Role Description:

Deep understanding of Insurance Domain, Identification of the system involvement with respect to new Requirement. Continuous coordination and clarification of requirements during development with the business units2. Effective communication with all the involved stakeholders in the Project and Administrating the overall project. Stakeholder management with relevant stakeholders. Coordinating with various team leads, domain specific leads and communicate their involvement in the requirement.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Support project team in conducting meetings with stakeholders and technical teams
  • Support Legal Entities with the implementation of policies & procedures and additional input required for LEs to close the identified gaps on a weekly basis
  • Support Stakeholder Management and evidence examples for LEs to support the sign offs
  • Support in program management by preparing comprehensive materials summarizing the findings of meetings, including but not limited to slides and analysis, for the Program's stakeholders
  • Project communication and reporting
  • collaborating with internal ERGO partners to troubleshoot project planning issues
  • Managing proactively project risks and issues; developing effective mitigation/treatment plans
  • Managing project meetings, schedules, milestones and delivery
  • Preparing project correspondence and presentations, as needed, for status reports, executive updates, meetings, annual planning, etc
  • Setup and manage project governance structure according to ERGO IT Delivery framework
  • Coaching of young project managers with regard to ERGO-wide IT project management procedures

Key Competencies & Skills required

Technical Skills:

  • Knowledge of Project Management
  • Has knowledge in all common MS-Office products, BMC, Confluence,; Azure board
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent project planning, budget, scoping, costing and scheduling ability
  • Ability to build and maintain business relationship with stakeholders
  • Experience working with agile and classic project management methods

Nice to have:

  • Certification in Project Management

Previous Experience & Qualifications

Minimum Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science /Engineering/Information Technology
  • Candidate with non-computer science degree must have minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • MBA in IT / Insurance/Finance can also apply for Requirements Engineer and Test Engineer role.

Certification if any:

  • Certification in Project Management

Years Experience & Knowledge:

  • Strong track record of delivering IT projects in a large, complex environment. (7+ years), especially experience in the implementation of financial and regulatory requirements in the CFO context in Group-wide systems and their integration
  • Proven +10 years experience as a PM
  • Experience in Project Management • Stakeholder management
  • University or technical college degree with a focus on insurance, business informatics, computer science
  • proven +10 years’ experience as a PM
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Excellent project planning, budget, scoping, costing and scheduling ability
