Zowork is an IT services company with its headquarters in Bengaluru It intensively searches for top IT industry talent from India, making them part of world-class product teams worldwide Humility is our No 1 value and is at the heart of who we are It makes us better colleagues, drives us to bond as humans, connect us to Zowork, and transforms us into what we call the Zowork Nation Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability tests for enterprise applications Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define performance requirements Identify, analyze, and report performance bottlenecks with clear, actionable recommendations Create detailed performance test plans, test cases, and reports Create and maintain comprehensive performance test plans, scripts, and detailed reports Utilize industry-standard performance testing tools such as K6 and/or JMeter to design and automate performance testing Use APM tools like Dynatrace, NewRelic or similar tools to monitor system performance Work with SQL databases to create and validate test data Conduct detailed root cause analysis for performance issues Provide performance tuning guidance at the application, database, and infrastructure levels Maintain and enhance test automation scripts and performance test suites Desired Experience: Minimum 6+ years of experience in performance testing and performance engineering Proven experience working on large-scale systems and complex applications in a performance testing role Demonstrated success in identifying and resolving system performance issues Primary Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong analytical, problem-solving and hands-on technical skills, with the ability to deep-dive into performance issues Proficient in performance testing tools such as K6 and/or Jmeter Hands-on experience with APM and monitoring tools such as AppDynamics, New Relic, Dynatrace Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (eg Java, Python, or similar) Solid understanding of web technologies, RESTful APIs, databases (SQL/NoSQL), and network protocols Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, and Docker Preferred Qualifications: Experience with K6 Experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native application performance testing Expertise in testing large-scale systems and handling high volumes of data
