Sr. Network administrator

implement, manage, and maintain our Fortinet-based security and networking

infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with FortiGate

firewalls, VPNs, Forti Manager, and Forti Analyzer, along with a strong understanding

of network protocols and security best practices.

Role & responsibilities

• Configure, deploy, and maintain Fortinet, Pal alto, Meraki products (FortiGate, Forti Manager, Forti Analyzer, Forti Switch, FortiAP, FortiClient, Pal alto firewall,MX85).
• Design and implement secure network architectures and security policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance and firewall issues.
• Manage VPNs, SD-WAN, and security profiles.
• Perform regular firmware upgrades, patching, and backup configurations.
• Review and analyze logs via Forti Analyzer to detect threats and prevent intrusions.
• Collaborate with security teams on incident response and mitigation.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support and resolve escalated networking issues.
• Document network configurations and update network diagrams regularly.
• Maintain compliance with security standards (e.g., ISO, NIST, PCI-DSS).

Preferred candidate profile

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in network engineering with Fortinet ,Palalto, Meraki technologies.
• Strong knowledge of Fortis, firewall policies, NAT, routing, VLANs, and high availability (HA).
• Experience with Forti Manager and Forti Analyzer.
• Familiarity with VPNs (IPsec, SSL), SD-WAN, and endpoint protection.
• Understanding of network protocols: TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, DNS, DHCP.
• Hands-on experience with firewall rule configuration and optimization.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fortinet NSE Certification (NSE 4 or above highly desirable).
• Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools.
• Knowledge of other security products (Palo Alto, Cisco Meraki, etc.).
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid network environments.

Work Environment

Occasional travel to data centers or branch offices may be needed.
