Senior Lead Engineer - Testing (Automation, Selenium/cypress)

As a Lead QA (Automation Test Engineer) at FIS, you will be an integral part of our Pune-based product development center, focusing on ensuring the quality control and delivery of our newly launched bank connectivity product, FIS Bank Connector. You will collaborate within a dedicated product development SCRUM team, operating in an iterative delivery model. In this role, you will be responsible for developing an Automation Test Strategy and test scripts as part of the Scrum team. You will execute and debug test scripts within a CICD development environment, continually identifying and working on test framework enhancements. Additionally, you will review User Stories and requirement documents for functional and QA impact, creating test scenarios in collaboration with the business analyst for each story. Your responsibilities will also include the development and enhancement of a smoke test suite, supporting team members in understanding the functionality and functional impact of stories, and providing guidance to junior team members on product, domain, and test frameworks. Furthermore, you will be involved in status reporting, metrics, estimation, and tracking to ensure the successful delivery of the project. To excel in this role, you should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in test automation, along with a good understanding of the Spoke framework, Selenium Framework, Groovy, and GUI test frameworks like Cypress.
