Job Title: Senior KDB Developer Location: Pune Salary: Up to 16 LPA Experience: 6 to 10 years About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior KDB Developer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in KDB+/q programming and strong experience working with real-time market data systems, particularly within FX and trading environments. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and optimize KDB+/q services and applications. Work with large volumes of time-series market data using multi-tier KDB+ architecture (RDB/HDB/WDB). Collaborate with Traders, Quants, and other tech teams to support trading and analytics platforms. Implement and manage Ticker Plant architecture for real-time data ingestion. Ensure system performance, scalability, and reliability. Integrate KDB+ with other programming environments (e.g., Python, Java, C++) using tools like PyKX. Required Skills & Qualifications: 610 years of hands-on experience with KDB+/q programming. In-depth knowledge of KDB+ architecture , including Ticker Plant, RDB, HDB, and WDB. Strong grasp of mathematical concepts , data structures , and critical thinking . Good understanding of financial markets , especially FX, IRDs, and Fixed Income products. Familiarity with real-time tick data handling . Programming experience in Python, Java, or C++ is a plus. Prior experience working directly with Traders and Quants . Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of surveillance models such as Market Abuse Detection or Trader Mandates. Experience with KDB+ and third-party integrations or libraries (e.g., PyKX). Exposure to regulatory or compliance reporting tools.
