Senior Java Developer

Job Description

Location: Chennai - Ambattur (Onsite) Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Java backend services using Spring Boot . Build and manage microservices-based architectures , ensuring high performance and responsiveness. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Spring Security / OAuth2 / JWT . Collaborate with DevOps and Cloud teams to deploy and monitor services on Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). Write clean, maintainable, and testable code following best practices. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems. Maintain documentation and technical specifications. Required Skills: Strong proficiency in Java (8 or above) . Experience with Spring Framework : Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Cloud. Hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture . Familiarity with Cloud services (AWS / GCP / Azure) deployment, CI/CD, monitoring. Good understanding of security practices (OAuth2, JWT, HTTPS). Experience with Relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL). Experience with version control systems like Git . Working knowledge of unit and integration testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito, etc.). Desirable / Plus Skills: Basic understanding or experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript . Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Exposure to Docker , Kubernetes , or other containerization tools. Experience with message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) is a bonus. Familiarity with API gateways and service registries (e.g., Eureka, Zuul, Spring Cloud Gateway). Qualifications: Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Certifications in Java, Spring, or Cloud platforms are a plus.
