Job Description

About the Role:

Senior Infrastructure Security Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement infrastructure security controls across cloud and on-prem environments.
Manage and harden Linux-based systems and ensure compliance with security standards.
Define and implement security measures in containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Secure CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) to support DevSecOps practices.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and security reviews for cloud-native and on-prem infrastructure.
Monitor infrastructure for security incidents, automate detection, and improve incident response.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices throughout the SDLC.
Stay current on security trends, threats, and technology to proactively address potential risks.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

6+ years
of experience in infrastructure and/or cloud security roles.
Strong expertise in
Linux administration
and system hardening techniques.
Experience with
cloud platforms
(AWS, Azure, or GCP), preferably AWS.
Hands-on experience with
container security
(Docker, Kubernetes, etc.).
Deep understanding of
CI/CD security
in pipelines and DevOps workflows.
Familiarity with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Vault, or similar IaC and secrets management tools.
Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and tooling.
Strong knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, and IAM best practices.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
